The Seaforth Cottage property includes 40 acres of mature & regenerating native New Zealand forest which you can explore along the walking tracks. Many of the plants & trees are identified and named. The variety on the property is huge, from the magnificent Kauri trees to the lovely miniature grass orchids.
There are three small private sandy beaches and 1km of rocky Hauraki Gulf coastline to explore as part of the property. You can explore further around the coast to find Robbers Cove, Sea Caves and Horse Bay where the Orca Whales come to scratch in the early morning! Carry on around the coastal rocks to the village of Waiwera, or just wander along unknown long sandy beaches on your own.
For the more adventurous, there is fishing from the many rocky points or coves along the coast.
